Adil Serhan Şahin began with his dissertation entitled “A new approach to the transformation of cultural heritage areas: Yeldeğirmeni case” a doctoral programme in Communication Sciences at Istanbul Bilgi University. At the same time, he has been working there since 2013, first as an administrative assistant at the Research Centre for Cultural Policy and Management (KPY) and later as a research assistant at the Institute for Arts and Culture Management. He is editor of the KPY Yearbooks 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 Review Sections. He is also a doctoral candidate at the Institute for Cultural Policy at the University of Hildesheim. He continues his research and work in the fields of cultural policy, cultural management, communication sciences and masculinities.
