Imge Tuğçe Bağır was born in 1986 in Ankara. She completed her undergraduate education at TOBB ETÜ Department of Economics. She completed her master's degree at Hacettepe University Political Science Master's Program with her thesis entitled "Ben’liğin Manifestosu: Max Stirner’de İnsan ve ‘Biricik’". In the Hacettepe University Communication Sciences Doctorate Program, her thesis proposal titled "Üniversite, Neoliberalizm ve Kamusal Bilgi Tartışmaları Bağlamında Açık Erişimli Feminist Dergiler Üzerine Bir İnceleme" was accepted by the institute in June 2017. She continues her studies in the Political Science Doctorate Program of Hacettepe University, which she started in 2015.
