Onur Aytaç

 

Onur Aytaç was born in 1991 in Üsküdar. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2014. Having a double major at the Faculty of Communication of the same university, Aytaç graduated from the Radio, TV and Cinema department in 2015. He studied at Istanbul Bilgi University Human Rights Law and Marmara University Cinema Graduate Programs, with the aim of doing interdisciplinary studies by blending both fields. Although he started his academic life as a research assistant in the Department of Criminal Law at Istanbul Kültür University, he resigned from this position and started to work as a research assistant at the Faculty of Communication, as he found it more enjoyable to do academic work in the field of communication and thought it was a more suitable field for interdisciplinary work. Aytaç, who was appointed to Mersin University Faculty of Communication within the scope of the Teaching Staff Training Program, worked at the Marmara University Communication Faculty Department of Cinema due to his graduate education, and in July 2017, he completed his master's degree in cinema with his thesis “Film Festivallerinde Belgeseller ve Sansür: Yeryüzü Aşkın Yüzü Oluncaya Dek ve Bakur. Recalled due to the opening of a doctorate program at Mersin University, Aytaç has been working as a research assistant at Mersin University Faculty of Communication since October 2017 and continues his doctoral studies.
